Quick Fix - fixes some commonly experienced problems

This new command in the Help menu fixes some commonly experienced problems. Usually these problems arise from accidentally enabling some mode of Audacity, and not knowing how to get back out of the mode and back to normal.

The dialog shows a list of possible problems. The list may vary slightly from the list shown here, depending on what modes are enabled in Audacity.

  • If you are having one of the problems described, click on the relevant    Fix    button to fix it.

    The fix will be made, resetting the mode that caused it back to normal, and the button will change to read   Fixed  .

  • Then click the   Close   button.
