Reset Configuration

This resets your Audacity configuration, preferences and toolbars, to default settings.

What is reset
Preferences
Using Reset Configuration will reset all your Audacity preferences settings to their default "factory settings".
Toolbars
Using this command will reset all your toolbars to their default "factory settings": sizing, positioning and settings. This is analogous to using .
- Tools toolbar - reset to "I-beam" Selection tool
- Meters - reset to Gradient style, dB type and Automatic orientation
The sliders for levels in Mixer toolbar and the speed in the Play-at-Speed toolbar are left untouched.
