Preparation for pdf

This page is in the 'Tutorial - Your First Recording' series. I am suggesting an info div at the top that lets readers know they can (probably) skip read this. It is a bit too much to take in on a first reading.

I'm suggesting that we give them the information that 44100Hz is the default recording rate and is fine.

  • Peter 26Jun17: I'd be happier about "skip read" advice to newbies if we had "Overdub" off by default. Though admittedly this is a lot less of an issue now that record-beside is the default.

Maybe we should consider treating this a bit like the way we dealt with Selectiong 101 for newbies, telling them deafults are fine. I.e. make a simple page here in lieu of this one and hive off the more complex settings (the full content of this page) to a "skippable" sub-page. I would probably keep this page with this name (for existing links) and give the 101 page a new name - this is what we did with Selection and Selection 101.
