Peter 26Aug12: This page looks like a Work-In-Progress. Perhaps add some explanatory text, it looks vey bare as it is.
  • Gale 2Sep12:I don't have any bright ideas. It is not necessarily bad because it has little text. You could argue the images on that page really belong on the front page, but there are strong practical reasons why not.
    • Peter 11Sep12: I have added an image of a stereo track - and removed the Px ToDo.
    • Gale 14Sep12: ToDo Image not very suitable as it implies the mono lacks a focus border and is not of matching width. Put a mono image there with yellow border for now, but needs making or faking an image where the vertical scale is the same width. Is this because the track images are mostly from Mac?
Anything that is added to the Project Window will be placed inside a track container, underneath the Timeline of the project. These are the different types of tracks:

Audio tracks contain digitally sampled sounds:

Mono Audio Track

Stereo Audio Track

Label tracks contain labels which mark specific points or selection areas in the project:

Label Track

Time Tracks allow you to gradually speed up or slow down playback of all audio tracks in the project over time:

Time Track

Note Tracks appear when you import MIDI files:
