Tracks

The Add New Track menu item is now linked to from the sidebar, and shows all 5 track types. An info box after the menu lists the five types.

Reason: I'd noticed that most of the page families are linked to from the sidebar, e.g. menus, preferences, toolbars, effects all are families of related pages, and all these families have sidebar links. The different kinds of track form a family, but had no sidebar link.

I think this Tracks page could be improved by making all the images annotated ones.

Audio Track Views

I think we could do with a new page that shows the different views of one mono audio track.

• Normal waveform
• Normal waveform muted
• Normal waveform with selection
• Cut lines, Clipping lines and Snap guide.
• Collapsed
• Collapsed half-wave view
• DB waveform
• Waveform with Envelope shown
• Spectrogram
• Zoomed to show samples
• Zoomed to show stem plot

Transport Toolbar

The Transport Toolbar page could be improved by having a second annotated image showing Toolbar with shift down.
